Week 14: Product Review (Passion Planner Planners)

This will be an overview of this planner; more details on specific products will follow in other posts.

I'm still new, considerably, to the Passion Planner lifestyle but it has been an incredible journey. I absolutely love everything about it. I love everything about it and it's easily one of my favorite planners that I've ever had the pleasure of using.

What got me into Passion Planner was really just seeing it showcased on Instagram. Everyone did such a beautiful job with it, and I got really interested in the RoadMap. So, I kept researching the products until I finally hit the button and took the plunge.

In another post, I will review using the Passion Planner Undated Daily and Weekly at the same time.

My First Impressions

One of my favorite things about Passion Planner is that they showcase their products in the form of Free Downloads that allow you a chance to try it out without pressure of purchasing the book. Of course, everyone loves the feeling of a brand new book, but it shows such a great promise from the company itself to offer that. I would strongly recommend trying it out if you aren't sure about this planner.

I also love how there are a ton of size options, too, which only makes it better.

Getting the planners is an absolute delight. I haven't had issues in ordering, and the packaging is handled with care. I started using the Undated Daily for work and realized how fantastic it was and here I am a few months later...in love.

Passion Planner Undated Daily Planner

The way the Undated Daily Planner works is really simple. It's a two page spread - one side contains pre-laid out schedule that lasts all day with to-do lists and extra space for whatever you want. The other side is a dot grid sheet that can be used for absolutely anything.

In the beginning of the book, there's a RoadMap that I modified to fit the first quarter of the Year. Then, there's all the Monthly Spreads at the beginning - at first, this took me back to my Hobonichi issues. There's also a self-reflectance spread that follows and then come the daily sheets.

When using a Daily Planner, sometimes it gets hard to utilize every page. Typically, I tape down the Monthly Spread since I use the Weekly Planner. But, I do utilize the reflectance sheets. Or, try to. One of my favorite things about the Undated Daily book is that I can use it as I need to. There are days that I don't need to document anything, or feel the need to. And, then there are times when I use it constantly.

It works best for people who don't always need to use their planner every day.

It does get a little challenging when trying to balance all the information I want to document in both the Weekly Planner and the Undated Daily Planner, so I sometimes find myself getting overwhelmed. But, ultimately, the Daily is just a fantastic way to use it as you need it and the extra dot grid page can become anything from shopping lists to journals (which is what I use it for).

I use the Daily to record meals, workouts, sleeping and moods, and then journal on the right side. For now. What I love is how it's customizable, and I can change my mind for how to use it as I want.

Passion Planner Weekly Planner

The Weekly Planner is catered to a full year's worth of scheduling. This is really where I use the information that is provided. The RoadMap is transfixed on what I want to accomplish throughout the year, and the future. This helps really tie down information that I want to excel at on a month-to-month basis that is offered in the Monthly Reflectance Pages and the Monthly Spread at the beginning of each month.

I love how all the months are tied with the weeks and you can add tabs to help separate each month. Then comes the Weekly spread. This is an hourly layout that shows each day for a week that takes over on a two page spread. At the bottom, there's sections to mark your weekly to-do list and then a blank space where I write down goals for the week.

This whole sheet is customizable in the way you use it.

I use a section for financial tracking in terms of bills due, and I create deadlines for myself during the week. The hourly schedule allows me to keep track of all of my appointments, and because I use my Undated Daily, I can also record memories and photos in my Weekly Planner.

I love utilizing this spread for memories. It really gives me good insight in how my weeks are going and what I can look forward to.
